Prisma Pencils Rock !!!

Well I know I have been away for a while, well quite a while to be frank ! But I am back and I now have my new Prisma Pencils courtesy of my frind Barrie in the Good Old US of A ( they got here eventually Barrie !!!)

I have shown a card I made using the super cute Sugar Nellie Stamps which I adore.

I love this card soooo much I need to keep it instead of sending it to the intended recipient...I guess you will never know if one was meant for you !

We are God Parents......

Well yesterday we were finally made God Parents to beautiful Mia-ann Louise Errington. We had a wonderful day and felt so priviledged to be such an important part of her life. The weather was not what we would have hoped for, a bit drizzly and windy, but that didn't stop us having a fab time. Everyone had a great day and the star of the show was on best behaviour as always.

I gave our reading and Tony lit the candles ( probably safer that way he reckons) and I hope we did Mia-ann and Sadie proud. Sadie is such a great mum and Mia-ann is soooo lucky to be growing up in such a kind, caring and compassionate family....she's a lucky girl XXX

The Naked Truth.....

Well me and Penny went to see this show at The Lighthouse last night. It was fabulous, all about a group of girls who meet at a Pole Dancing Class....Lots of laughs, Tears and outrageous costumes. It was great. My friend Ann bought tickets for us both to go and see it for my birthday, then she went and hurt her back ( poor thing ) so I had choose to take Penny (Sister) instead, We went to Franky and Bennys first and had Salad for main course and then because we felt so virtuous we went for it with Cinnamon Waffles, Vanilla Ice Cream and Sauce and it was heaven !!! ( we did drink diet coke so we figure that cancels out the calories right ! ) I did promise not to mention the White Chocolate thickly coated ice cream we had in the interval but as I am confessing my sins I may as well tell all !

Another two gone......

Well we just got weighed and as the title suggests it's another two pounds off, 12 now in total. If I can make it to my first stone next week I will be one chuffed mamma. I have a very annoying husband who, in the same length of time as me, has lost 19 lbs...and eats far more than I do !!!

I have to keep reminding myself that I have lost 24 packets of butter or 12 tins of baked beans, it doesn't bear thinking about.

Just recently I have discovered a range of rubber stamps called Sugar Nellie.. I know they have been out for quite a while but they are new to me...I have had a play with them a made a couple of cards...

Lumin-Essence Rep.....

Well I am chuffed, I have been asked by Lisa and Darrin from Lumin-Essence in Poole to be there "Event Representitive" for this area. This means that I will be taking home parties, organising private shopping events in the shop in Poole and helping out with the big consumer shows as well. I am so looking forward to getting going, having my first party and enlightening those who have never had a Yankee Candle experience into the wonderful world of smell !

It seems odd that a few weeks ago I didn't have a job and now I have three...I think I will have to re-negotiate on this whole 24 hours in a day deal !!

A New Crop....

Well me and my buddies have been to the new scrapbook crop run by David and Brenda from Craft Obsessions today...we had a ball. The day was really relaxed, lots of banter and lots to spend our cash on...STASH STASH STASH ! Tony does not understand my love of scrapbooking...he calls it Crapbooking....but nevertheless he still listens and nods at the right moment and tries to look interested, bless him!

I cant put a picture of my Layouts for today as they are part of a gift for a very special person.

Talking of special people, it is only a month or so until we get made into proper bona fide God Parents for the first time. Little Mia-ann Louise Errington is having a naming day next month and we have been asked to do the honours. We are both so touched to be asked and will take our responsibilities towads her very seriously. I have a Special pet name for her " FlowerPot"..don't ask...I have no idea where it came from but I just call her it and everyone knows that's my name for her.

I'm a thin person...trapped !

Well I have been on ANOTHER diet now for what seems like forever but in reality is only 6 weeks, I have managed to lose 10 lbs so far but I'm really struggling at the moment to not touch the "goodies". Tony and I have been good since we started but I think about food constantly and although I'm sure there are more important things to think about...FOOD seems to be the only thing I can think of !

I am going to a crop tomorrow courtesy of Craft Obsessions in West Moors, It is their very first one and I have rounded up the gang to boost the numbers and offer them support. David and Brenda are great fun and I'm sure we will all have a lovely day.

It Could Happen to Anyone.....

Hiya

You may wonder why I called my blog" It could happen to anyone". The reason for this is as those of you who know me will know, I am incredibly accident prone and I do happen to do the most stupid things which invariably leave me hurt, bruised, battered, plastered ( not in the alcoholic sense unfortunately ) or even worse still...with a broken nail !!

Tony (DH) just rolls his eyes when I tell him my tales of woe adn he quotes this one line

" Well it could Happen to Anyone" !!!!
